Did you know that Yellowstone National Park offers a fabulous package that combines great rates with an opportunity to learn about everything that goes on in the park?   If you are looking to travel with children during the winter months, this is definitely an option to consider.   The Yellowstone Association Institute offers a great program called Lodging and Learning that gives you and your children the opportunity to track wildlife, take photos and even snowshoe all with your own personal guide.

This affordable program runs for 5 days and includes the opportunity for your child to participate in the National Park Service’s Junior Ranger program.  This program has great fun goals and your child will be awarded a patch when they complete the program.   Accommodations include time at the historic Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel.

Where was your favorite place to vacation as a child?
