It’s just a few short days until the football game to end all football games, Super Bowl XLVI, scheduled to kick off 6:30pm on Sunday, February 5th. But the celebrations and events created specifically around the Super Bowl started as early as last Friday, turning this event into something well and above just another bowl game.
And if you are one of the lucky ones who have Super Bowl tickets, you have so much more waiting for you in Indiana. Called the NFL Experience and sponsored by GMC, an entire theme park has been built up in the Indiana Convention Center aptly called the Super Bowl Village. Opening day was last Friday and this over the top event will be open every day until Saturday, February 4th at 10: pm. This incredible interactive theme park offers something for everybody in the family to enjoy the week before the game including over 110 hours of ESPN’s most popular shows, 10 days of free concerts with over 60 performers and some great games and tournaments in Tailgate Town.
It also includes one of the largest memorabilia show ever and football clinics for children. And each night, there’s a nightly lighting and pyrotechnic show to enjoy. You’ll get a chance to meet the Colts cheerleaders, tour the stadium and enjoy some great street entertainment. There is even a Care Clinic on site. The very reasonable entrance fee of $25 per adult and $20 for children 12 and under makes this a great way to enjoy waiting for the Super Bowl.
