The Beatles StampThis year marks the 50th Anniversary of The Beatles U.S. Invasion! What could be better than a trip to their old stomping ground and experience the magic that is London and Liverpool? Here’s a great itinerary for the ultimate fan!

Day 1 – Welcome to London

Arrive London Heathrow where your driver will meet and take you to Changing of the guards at Windsor castle, Englandyour centrally located London hotel.  In order to avoid the rush hour traffic, you will visit nearby Windsor Castle where you might catch the Changing of the Guard.

Day 2 – Classic Rock & Beatles site tour

You’ll take a nostalgic trip down music’s time tunnel; discover what made the 60s ‘swing’ along Chelsea’s Kings Road, explore the hippy ‘counter-culture’ in historic Notting Hill, and follow the Beatles across rock’s famous Abbey Road pedestrian crossing. There will be an opportunity for souvenir shopping at the Beatle store. The tour ends at London’s Hard Rock Cafe in time for an early dinner (optional) and visit to the memorabilia vault.

Day 3 – Discovering the Beatles Story

After breakfast take a taxi to Euston Station for the train ride (2.08 hours) to Liverpool. AfterAlbert Dock checking into your hotel, take a taxi to the historic Albert Dock. Located on Liverpool’s waterfront, the award – winning Beatles Story experience is an atmospheric journey into the life, times, culture and music of the Beatles. Afternoon is free to explore Liverpool and the city’s fabulous new retail and leisure offer.

Day 4 – Magical Mystery Bus Tour

In the afternoon, step aboard the colorful Magical Mystery Tour bus for a fun and fascinating 2 hour tour of the Beatles Liverpool. The tour takes you to see their childhood homes, schools and colleges and you will get up close to the places that inspired some of their most memorable songs – Penny Lane and Strawberry Field. The tour will finish at the famous Cavern Club on Matthew Street.

Day 5 – Returning to London

Take a taxi to Lime Street Station for the mid-morning train back to London and then to your bigstock-Buckingham-Palace-In-Spring-31656068hotel where after checking in, the rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 6 – Home Time

Private transfers to the airport for the return flight home or you can extend your visit and experience more of England.
